  5. What do you think, bible thumper getting their come uppance or someone trying to show a bit of thought and care? personally i'm for the latter but me and some of my mates had wildly different thoughts on it.My link
  6. Right who are the pyschos on WF PD Test I got a low on everything sane person that I am
  7. someone posted a link to this on PCadvisors speakers corner link Looks like the govt's out to milk the motorist again, bloody disgraceful that you are found innocent of a offence but the govt still wants it's pound of flesh, what next someone accused of a non mototring offence but still having to pay a fine which in effect I suppose is what's going to happen to motorists
  8. I read this story with dismay, now I can understand that Police should not be allowed to wear badges promoting anything but this rule seems to be selective, but this is not the part I am dismayed with, it's the fact that someone made a complaint that the Union Flag showing support for our troops is offensive and then the Police authorities decide to act on it, if I made a complaint saying that a police officer wearing a gay pride badge was offensive I would be told to go away and stop beig homophobic (spelling?) Frankly if people are offended by Britain, it's laws and customs or it's flag why don't they just go elsewhere. It's time the majorities feelings were taken into consideration and not just the minorities which seems to be happening on a multitude of things, the PC brigade are ruining this country and I think eventually will push more voters into the arms of the extreme right parties meaning the possibilty of more race trouble Support the troops
  9. I agree with andsome, I enjoyed it also
  10. I'm with you on that one Ranger. Statistics show that Scotland cannot afford to stand on it's own two feet. There is not enough population and not enough employment to generate enough income for Scotland to become an Independent Country. Gandalph I take a lot of these figures with a pinch of salt, i've seen figures that show otherwise, frankly I think each one that comes out with facts and figures put them in such a way as to support whatever side they are coming from, yes even the supposedly independant ones. I for one don't wany independance for Scotland and it has nothing to do with being able/unable to stand on "our own two feet" I just think the UK is stronger together than it would be apart. The Scottish parliament (and the Welsh) are just another layer of Government costing us the taxpayer many more millions that could be spent on more useful things like the NHS, roads, schools and yes even arming our troops properly as opposed to paying the toerags in them
  11. I would happily disband the 2nd rate politicians trough that is known as the Scottish parliament if I could

    Bad Egg

I bet you were cracking up, not only at having no breakfast, but having to shell out for a rotten egg scrambles of the forum quickly
  15. As far as I can see that lot are a bunch of chancers from the other parties who see the promise of independance as a way to boost their egos and their bank balances. They are still nothing but the lowest form of life....politicians. I can't disagree with you on that
  16. Would you believe that many years ago I used to vote for them until I saw the light? :D I have never voted Labour, whether it be local, national or euro elections, where I live they get in easily and know it, so frankly as far as I'm concerned treat their electorate with contempt ( I suppose they all do) In fact I emailed all my local councillors regards a local issue a couple of weeks ago and the only one who replied staraight away was the SNP councillor, another two took another email from me to answer my question (Lab & Lib) and the fourth has still to answer despite 3 emails, yes a labour councillor, maybe one day the people of Maryhill will waken up to this lot that are stll riding on the "we are a working class party" , unfortunately the only real threat to labour here are the SNP, the Tories are seen as for the rich and Liberal as also rans
  17. I'm not sure putting all the MP's in one hotel is the answer it would be a security nightmare and a prime target for terrorists (remember the Grand hotel in Brighton) I don't have any objection to MP's getting a house within a certain price range and the maitenance for it paid by us the taxpayer, but the moment that MP stops becoming a MP, the house is sold and the money and any profit doesn't go to the MP but back to us the taxpayer and any other goods bought by us, TV's etc if not included in the sale can be sold to the MP at a discounted price if they wish or auctioned off
  18. Much as I dislike the man intensley I would not hang him dry for some things he wrote as a young un, how many of us had totally different views when we were that age compared to now, I know I certainly had
  19. As andsome says, obscene, but the one that really gets me is The Royal Opera House £205,000! really obscene

    Good old BT

Andsome i've got cable as well (up to 20mb) it goes from being terrible to really good, it has been so slow at times that dial up would be faster and other times it whizzes, I have complained on several occassions and in fact asked to get out of the contract at one point as they were not delivering the service I paid for, to give them their due they did give me a months payment back and a credit for £10 for my phone calls but it aint all sweetness and light with cable
  21. How the F*** did that chancer Brown get my login details :D
  22. I don't see what's wrong, as well as others mines came up as, Gordon Brown is a leader of the highest esteem man of high moral fibre a truly wonderful PM A true World leader highly revereed by the people of the UK PM for the 21st century
  23. As long as people continue to be greedy and look for a fast buck, and in some cases just nieve then no they won't
