leanmoha
Hi allwhen I decided to get my wireless gateway/router (WAG-G), the thought of having a printer server never crossed my mind. And now I was just wondering if there was a way to connect my printer striaght to the router rather than sharing through a pc. Its a Lexmark X1150 USB. And without having to buy a new gateway/router with USD printer serverIs it for instance possible to buy one of those usb wireless access point things but for printers. This way the pcs share the printer from the router.I don't know if this makes any sense, I've not slept in the past 32 hrs so forgive me.But heres what I meanPrinter-------router------------PC1 | | | | PC2as opposed to my current setup-------------router------------PC1---------------------Printer | | | | PC2Oh by the way the lines going to PC2 these diagrams should be directly under router. Not sure how to do this

homecomputeraid
leanmoha,Just asking, but what's the desired purpose behind connecting your computer directly to the router? Is it so you won't need to have a PC on (the one the printer's connected to) just to allow you to print?
