HD temp keeps raising temp, even though i have entire Antarctic as cha

The best would be if there are some programs that could backup and entire hard drive and compress it into something...?

Thats correct, i rather get the most proven program tip from other people..rather than myself just chancing on my own! :happy::hi:

im going for the free version, (if i run into trouble i start a new thread, and i expect John to show up there then ;))

Sorry to interject,Kloppstock,but you do have a search engine or fifty where you are?

I search for products and then I check the reviews for that product so that I can make an informed decision as to what it is I should or should not do.All the searchin' also helps me to not obsess over things like Hard Drive Fragmentation Percentages. :blink:

What does yor gut feeling tell you about this errant drive?Go with it.
