Programs that start automatically

Recommended Posts

I have a couple of programs that start up automatically when I start my computer. What is the command that you type in the Run box that brings up the form that contains all of the programs that start up automatically?

Thanks!

An easier way of seeing your start up programs is to download and install a small program called Crap cleaner , then go to tools on the menu and then click on Start up and that will show you, and you can disable any you want to.

I wouldn't recommend downloading anything as Windows already gives you the necessary tools to manage startup applications. Anything extra is just clutter in my opinion.

I recommended CCleaner instead of msconfig because in my opinion it is easierto use than msconfig, and also has other good utilities and has a small footprint.

Autoruns has my vote for managing startup entries. Msconfig is a diagnostic tool; I think....
