Guest Dan
Actually could be Typing of the dead. Was one of a rare breed the TEU (type 'em up) cross between a typing tutor and a zombie shoot em up.I remember trying it out but finding it buggy on my old system. Has anyone seen it for sale still in the uk and do you know if it works on WinXP?(My typing needs all the Fun practice it can get.)Also does anyone know if Mavis Teaches Typing for kids is actually any good. (for kids and or people with learning difficulties)?

Guest Dan
108mb for a download demo?! You gotta be kidding me. Let's see now my speed is currently 28.8Kbps, ummmmmm well even with dap I'm looking at about 5 hours or more. Simpler to buy and hope. Glad to hear it runs ok. :)
Guest Dan
Hmmmm. Well the advert says 1-2 days but the order details give me a date about 4 weeks off. Time for me to get my typing up to speed I guess.
Guest The Ghost of Inept Pig
The only other place I can find is advertised is Dabs.com, and they only order upon request- It must be down to the fact that it sells so well? Or maybe you've got a taste for the obscure?
Guest Dan
You need to ask?Well let's face it...it is a little odd.Too say nothing of old.Retro typing games - a new genre to be proud of.Still it'd be nice to get it and have it run ok. Will feedback if and when it arrives.
Guest Dan
Nuts.Amazon took the order. Waited a while. And just emailed me to say whoops they actually don't have it. But it's ok cause they haven't charged me for the product that they don't have and are not sending me.Thanks. I think. Will have a look at Dabs. (Have had 1/1 order no show with Dabs before. Makes me reluctant to use them again).
Guest The Ghost of Inept Pig
Sorry to hear that, but you will have such an obscure taste in games...I'm sure it'll be knocking about in the back rooms of many high street game stores, not that it helps...If you don't have any luck with Dabs, you could have even more fun and try Ebay, where it's also for sale...
