blacksonic Posted September 28, 2004 Report Share Posted September 28, 2004 Hey a few weeks ago i formatted and installed windows XP pro on a partition, but on the other partition i already have windows xp home sp2. i later formatted the partition because i decided i'd stay with home. but whenever i start the computer it always give me an OS choice to boot. b4 i formatted the partition the second time it said:windows XP professionalWindows XP homeWindows recovery consoleand windows XP pro was highlighted. now after i formatted it, it displays:Windows XP homeWindows recovery consoleWindows(default)and window(default is highlighted. i tried loading it but it said it cant find a certain file, so im assuming that was XP pro. i was wondering if anyone could tell me how i could either have XP home auto highlighted, or remover Windows(default from the selection, because its starting to annoy me. i've set the selection time to 60 secs because other users take a little more time to notice it, but i'd like to eliminate it all together. plze help. u can email me at potsmoker87athotmail.comor AIM me at foreverlonely418thank you for your help:D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
