Hi

I currently created a little card game using VB6 then saved it as an exe file, I then e mailed it to a friend to have a look.

The problem is he cant seem to open the attacment without getting an error message.

So I was wondering because i saved it on my win/98 machine would the problem be that they run win/2000 if so is there a way round this?

Thanx in advance.

Im not sure but i think you have to install the MDAC components seperately on the 2000 machine....download the MDAC set up here

its the Installer that comes with VB6 that Doesnt work under Win/2000

I must point out tho that my knowledge of Visual Basic is ...erm...Basic!

if your friends the one on 2000 then he should install it, like i say its the installer that comes with vb6 that doesnt work under 2000, which could be why he's getting error messages when he trys to install it (the game)

Damo
