Craig
Paul is the Asus man, but as he isn't here at the moment i will have a go.It could be a problem with the sensor on the fan, as my fan alarm used to go off, and when i checked, the fan speed had gone up a few thousand RPM.However 4066 RPM looks a little low. What the temprature like for your CPU? Paul
I wouldnt worry about Asus probe mate! If there is a problem with your CPU fan then your mobo will shut down.If you are still concerned then remove the side of the tower and watch the CPU fan next time the alarm goes off, I bet money that its still spinning happy as a madboy in a vat of custard with a few of sexy ladies thrown in for good measure ;)
