ITR000
I wanted to posted regarding the most efficient way to lock down the Windows XP Pro desktop for specific users.Basically I have 15 XP Pro workstations on a non-critical network (peer-to-peer) and I would like to disable access to certain areas for basic users.I have been successfully in locking down certain aspects of XP Pro however, others are more problematic. (Using Tweak)I want to have the lock down only apply to the basic user logon to the PC and NOT the administrator logon. It seems, with Tweak at least, that certain options are system wide rather then user specific.... Can this be change? Thanks in advance. :flowers:
Redhat
Heya :) If I understand correctly, you can do this using the Group Policy editor. I need to know if your on a Domain or a Workgroup though, as one takes more work than the other :)
