bazwalt
I'm trying to download a Bittorrent but I'm told my port is blacklisted. How do I change port settings in IE 6 to allow me to download? :(
Ash
What firewall do you have running, and what BitTorrent client are you using? (IE6 doesn't come into this, by the way.) By default, ports 6881 -> 6889 are used by the various BT client - allow your BT client to send and receive through a few of them, then try. bazwalt
Ash, I'm using XP's own firewall and BitTorrent 3.4.2. 6881 -> 6889 are all black listed. I think I need to use something around 40000 ->65000 (ish). How do I do this  Baz.
Ash
Clients like ABC and Azureus let you set which port you like, not just the default ones. It's your ISP that's blocking those ports...who are you with?
