peterpan3494 Posted November 9, 2004 Report Share Posted November 9, 2004 hi peoplei wonder if anyone can help me with this problem a friend of mine has been running windows 2000 pro and had suddenly started having problems with a mouse and hidserve.exeand all attemts failed to sort this little problem outshe asked me to put on windows xp overwriting windows 2000proall went well untill boot up the system was very slow took 15 mins from pressing the on button to the desktop stopped loadingall programs running in the task bar were stopped befor upgrading firewalls virus checkers nothing was running has anyone else had this problem if so please could you tell me how the pc has enough hard disc space enough ram and memory watching the task manager and clicking on perfomance the cpu meter reaches 100% anyhelp would be welcomemany thanks for reading Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
