tvlad Posted November 13, 2004 Report Share Posted November 13, 2004 Can't really figure why, but after some time, i simply couldn't view any window shares in my network, i keep getting this message : You might not have permission to use this network resource.I changed IsDomainMaster to yes, then to no, and it still didn't help. When i had domainmaster to yes, when i looked in the event viewer it said that another pc believes itself to be the master browser, and i did wait along time, enough i think for elections to take place for the master browser. If so, here's a link explaining a possible patch for some XP Service Pack 2 Network Sharing problems. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=841399.
