xxjojoxx Posted January 26, 2005 Report Share Posted January 26, 2005 hey all.. i just went to reboot my system.. & it's getting stuck on the black windowsxp screen & will not proceed. i did not make any changes except add some updates to windows a few days ago. Sir Radfordin Posted January 26, 2005 Report Share Posted January 26, 2005 If you can boot into safe mode ok then it is likely to be something that has recently changed. Are you able to do a system restore? You should be able to boot in safe mode, go to help and support and from there choose system restore and roll the system back a day or so.Have you installed any new hardware recently?
