masakanokatana
This is probably a really basic question, but can you install pro elements such as Excel and Word on the Home version. I recently needed these programs, even though home has counterparts, quattro pro and word perfect. I'd like to have the other versions. Do I need to install a whole new windows pro or can I just install the specific programs. PS, a friend says he has the programs in a zip file. I don't know how he has these or if theyre legal. xakep
Once I called my mfg support with this question. They said that the non-specific Windows XP programs(Office) are OK to swap, but networking is something else, since the drivers etc are Pro specific.
