saga628
I am trying to install the east asian language support to be able to read japanese sites. When I choose to install the file it says that there is a file needed called xjis.nls. I've looked for it online and dl it but it still didnt work. Am i doing something wrong or is it just messed up. And if so is there something else I could dl to read japanese websites and recieve emails in japanese? THanx
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I see on your profile that you have Windows XP. I don't know how you try to "install the file". On Windows 2000 and XP you shouldopen Control PanelRegional Optionsselect Japanese as an additional Languagereboot(This is Win2K; XP may be slightly different, but I don't have XP with me right now. I can check the exact instructions on Monday.)

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
xjis.nls should be in the I386 folder on the CD-ROM (but perhaps in a CAB archive), or on your Windows\system32 folder.
ThinkVantage
I have searched the file xjis.nls on my computer and found it under the folder windows\system32, the size of it was 28kb.
