sbotond Posted March 24, 2005 Report Share Posted March 24, 2005 Hello I switched to XP and now have a serious trouble with my Genius Color-Page HR6 V2 scanner. The problem is, that the scanner doesn't work only with Admin privileges, and I don't want to give admin privileges to all users. :angry: I downloaded the latest driver (for XP!!) from the Genius site, and installed as admin. Now the scanner works for admin, and for the limited users gives the "system was not properly installed" error. If I run the scan mannager in Win98 compatibility mode, starts without error, but can,t find any TWAIN sources, so the scanner doesn't work.I also tried to run the scan mannaher with runas, but without any result.Please help me, if you can. :( Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
