Prince of Calcutta
i shall follow this very closely! since i've been plagued with this error too..contacted dell support they said that it was most likely to be a faulty ram module..i had added 256 mb from another source not dell so i think the problem could be with the extra ram i got... similar congiguration for me too (2x256 pc2100) i get this error when i close multiple ie windows.and i found that increasing the cache/pagefile size helps .. not as many error messagesplan to take out the extra ram i installed to see if the problem goes away :(
Prince of Calcutta
ps : i'm not sure if ths is related but i find that it normally happens sometime after installing sp1.. tried running without installing the service pack for 3 weeks no errors but after installing sp got it in a few days... could be unrelated though..just mentioned it

Craig
I had a feeling that it was the ram, but that was the first time Messenger crashed.I have had a quite a few of the those errors appear when i play GTA3.My system has also been hanging for no reason, and earlier i had a weird sever busy dialog box appear  May have a go at taken each RAM stick out in turn in the next few days. Guest Nellie2
Well I have had a look at this site http://www.generation.net/~hleboeuf/hompage.htmBut all I could find was this which isn't the exact message because it is going on about the memory being written....and it says it is something to do with outlook......so barking up the totally wrong tree, but it might give you some clues.......then again perhaps not!!Oh here is the other link http://www.generation.net/~hleboeuf/messages.htm#T
Guest ellas
this from simmtester site Q. My PC boots up okay but seems to hang up after running for one hour or so. How can I find out what is wrong?Well, this is tricky situation. Typically you may want to begin by finding out if it's a memory related problem. DocMemory PC Memory Diagnostic software is designed for this very purpose. You can start by downloading a copy of the sofware from DocMemory Diagnostic Site , follow the setup instructions and run a diagnostic test on your PC memory. If all Memory tests results returns good, you will need to isolate and examine other possiblities such as CPU, Motherboard or other peripherals that you have in your PC. Guest ellas
so do I (except the faulty ram) but thankfully getting no errors :D
bvw
Craig, Really? :) It's a case of elimination then. Remove the printer or the Nvidia nView (I don't know what that is) and see if it helps I guess.I won't install SP1 on either of my machines, heard to many bad reports.Good luck.
