Cannot see movies when sending signal to tv

Hello

Some background: My sat dish does not work anymore, so I've been downloading movies for the wife and me to watch. We've seen a few, huddled around the computer. Wife says: "Too bad we couldn't watch these on the tv." The computer is on a diff floor than the tv, but still i decided to tackle this project.

I had an old wireless audio/video sender, so I decided to try it out. My video card (geforce fx 5200) has an s-video out, so I bought a converter to change this to component video, then it goes into the box that sends the wireless signal. Ditto for the audio -- speaker out from the back of the box, split to left and right audio ins on the sender.

After some fiddling with the video card multiple monitor setup, I managed to get the computer screen to replicate itself on the tv downstairs. I thought I was in the clear.

BUT I started a movie (I tried using several different players, such as Winamp, Windows Media, and a few others) and then when I looked on the tv downstairs, the video was not showing. Everything else was though -- the desktop, all other windows, etc. For some reason, the video does not go through. I tried a few settings on the players, but no luck.

Does anybody have a suggestion for me?

If it helps, I also noticed that when I take a screencapture of the computer screen when a video is playing, the video part shows up as blank in Photoshop. This seems to be related.

I've attached a pic of what happens. There's a movie playing inside the player window on the computer screen, but on the tv, it's blank like the attached pic.

Turn off Video Acceleration in Media Player, should work then.
