WindowsXP crashing/restarting/BSOD

For the past few weeks now, 2 things have been happening: BSOD, and random restarts. The BSODs have ranged from kmixer.sys, nv4_disp.dll, win32k.sys, or just no file in particular. I was typically getting them while playing World of Warcraft, just seems to make it happen faster [anywhere from 1-15 minutes into playing], because it also will occur when I'm just running a few applications, perhaps instant messaging or just browsing the internet. When my computer comes back from the BSOD, or a random restart [i'll go into that in a second], I get this following error:

Event Type: Error

0050: 30 30 30 30 0000

That is where it says "Windows has recovered from a serious error. blah blah, etc"

Now my other problem which seems to be occuring more often than the BSODs, is just a random restart.. and yes, I have unchecked the Automatically Restart box in Startup and Recovery-- but it's not even going to BSODs anymore.

Here are some more of my event/error logs:

Yea, I think you get the idea? And also, FYI, I was getting BSODs prior to my TWO reformats, as well.

Hello, and welcome to the forum :)

The first thing in a situation like this is to check if you don't have anything nasty installed on your system. Please check this topic how to create a Hijackthis log, then download, install, and run Hijackthis, and post the resulting log in this forum. One of the experts will then have a look at it.

Meanwhile can you tell us what antivirus & antispyware software you have installed?
