r4may Posted December 8, 2005 Report Share Posted December 8, 2005 Belarc Adviser will tell you what sound card/device you have :- http://www.belarc.com/free_download.htmlThen go to the web site of the sound card/device manufacturer and down load the drivers. if the card/devoce is old ther may not be an XP driver for it but you may get away with the Win 98SE one.
