scottygio Posted February 23, 2006 Report Share Posted February 23, 2006 I'm sorry if this has been covered before but i need a detailed description on how to reinstall windows.I was setting up a network in my home but my main computer will not talk to my laptop( its actually the other way around,main computer denies laptop access to all files). After i paid and got the experts in they said the only way to maybe get round it is to reinstall windows.My questions are:1) how do i do this?2) the computer was supplied with a backup cd and a system and drivers cd, do i need them and how do i use them?3) as is the norm these days my computer does not have a cd of windows home xp so how do i load it it in?4) will i lose all my files and programs?5) must i save everything onto a cd and then reload all the programs after windows has been reinstalledthanks in advancescott Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
