Guest Nellie2
I didn't..............but perhaps I should have!!!! Because I had flashed my bios I assumed all the info that was needed was stored in the ROM.......... I dunno Madboy.
Guest moon
I think mobo drivers are integral, I've never had to reinstall anything other than my HPT drivers. I use WinDriver Backup now though, just in case. I've never seen any mobo drivers in its lists so I guess that they are integral. WindriversBackup is free from;http://www.jermar.com/wdrvbck.htm
Guest ellas
no madboy as xp will put its own there, before you do it d/load the latest nforce drivers and detonators and burn the exes to a cd,then copy them to the h/drive affer your install and run them.if you run the mobo disc you will just have to update them anyway so dont bother unless it asks for it. madboy33
thanks ellaswill do that now matewhats the link again for the nforce drivers and detonators ?
Sir Radfordin
Format the hard drive, install XP as you say, by setting the CDROM to be the first boot device and that should be it.If it can't find a driver for something it will ask, its nice like that.If you have broadband then get your connection working first and then just go to the windows update site and get any driver updates it suggests you need. Rebuilding a PC has never been so easy :D
