BF1942, MOHAA, Quake? you can play these titles any many others online, as to weather they will crash or not is impossible to say unless there is a problem with your setup or a software conflict somewere or a driver issue. The most popular games tend to be first person shoot-em ups -quakeIII Unreal tournament, medal of honor et al.As for getting online, Gamespy Arcade is probably one of the easist and best to use, It automatically recognises what games are installed on yer system and list hundreds of servers all over the world to play on.Gamespy is free to use and download from www.gamespyarcade.com -Damo. Guest Min_Man Posted January 8, 2003 Report Share Posted January 8, 2003 I use gamespy arcade myself.......I paid the $20 one off lifetime fee for the registered version and you get all the latest stuff from GSA..............but the offer is going to close soon so hurry !!!!Madboy if you want to get into online gaming , as bigdamouk says, most multiplayer games are FPS .As to whether your comp slows down (commonly called lag) depends on the connection speed of the server (ie the host)......servers in GSA are fellow users who like to host games and a lot of them are broadband .As I have mentioned elsewhere I play ghost recon,sum of all fears and have also played aliens versus predator 2 online................but I usually lag out if there are too many players in the room.Paul , I have better luck with the Tom Clancy games online with my 56k than with the activision (MOHAA RTCW etc) stuff. :ph34r: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
