Krisb
There are lots of alleged fixes to the problem that web pages won't display, available via Microsoft, however I thought I'd ask if anyone has experienced a similar issue.Tiscali broadband, ADSL modem 'connected' successfully. IE can only display Google, no other web pages work. Emails will send but won't receive.Tiscali Support swear blind it is an IE problem, yet after a clean install, the problem persists. They have this 'problem' logged in their FAQs and unfortunately their customer support simply follow the FAQ and have no ideas.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Hello, and welcome to the Windows Forum!First, can you clear your IE browser cache (Tools, Internet Options, tab General, section Temporary Internet Files, click Delete Files, check Delete all offline content, OK), then see if you can still access Google? This will show you if you are really accessing Google, or just the cached Google page.I am not going to suggest that you use another browser than IE, but in order to see if the problem is a connection problem, or if it lies with IE, it would be useful if you could somehow install another browser such as Firefox.Regarding email problem - what email client are you using?
