Alexis Blaze
i want to install win98 OS to my old notebook ( intel pentium MMX ), but it doesn't have CD-ROM drive... i have a few solution in mind....1. take the harddisk, install it on a desktop then put it back... but i'm not sure if this will work (it will with windows XP) 'coz win98 is very hardware spesific...2. copy the installation disk to a partition on the harddisk, create a DOS startup disk, boot with the DOS, then install win98 on the harddisk... once again, i'm not sure if this will work... is it ok to install an OS without using bootable CD?will it work??thank for your help...
