freddy96
We have Windows XP Pro. Earlier this week, email attachments began failing. To trouble shoot, we tried using three different email programs, Eudora, Mozilla and Outlook Express and none of them would work. Wierd thing: We can send the same attachments if we log on to our different webmail accounts, same ISP vendors.Turned off Firewall, no joy. Unplugged wireless router and went directly into cable modem, no joy. Even tried our backup dial-up system, no joy. Erased and re-loaded our regular email client, no joy. NOTE: These are not overly large files and we've had no trouble at all sending them in the past.Wondering: Could a Windows Update have somehow messed this up? Any suggestions on where else to look to troubleshoot?
cozofdeath
This is definetly a MIME problem. Not really sure exactly what but yes windows update could have because there have been fixes for MIME. Check out this page it may help you narrow something down more. http://www.interesting-people.org/archives...1/msg00199.html
