arendium Posted August 31, 2006 Report Share Posted August 31, 2006 Hi!1.im having a problem removing the shutdown option on the login screen.heres a picture of of the login im using.2.After a computer has joined a domain u get a remote session box that you can klick below the password (not on the picture cuz that computer isnt on the domain).but is there a way to remove it?i kinda need these things solved because they are for a school system where the computers are locked away and only the screens a visable. takes a whileto run back and forth when users shut down the computers :P//Jakob Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Gagaman Posted August 31, 2006 Report Share Posted August 31, 2006 I dont know whether this works for a pc thats in a domain.Disable Particular Users/Groups from Shutting DownTo Disable Particular Users/Groups from Shutting Down, go to Control Panel the Double-Click on Administrative Tools and open Local Security Policy. Open the User Rights Assignment folder under Local Policies and scroll down to Shut down the system. When you have found it, double-click on it and Add/Remove the Users and/or Groups depending on whether you want them to be able to shut down or not.
