Ahmed
could you tell me how to change my desktop wall paper because the display settings of the wall paper is disabled and I don't know why?
petcoElbowRoom
I am having a similar problem. I'd been using a picture for my background/wallpaper for a long time. But yesterday I did some spyware housekeeping (Spybot, CleanUp!), AND downloaded new stuff from Windows Update (I did not pay close attention to what updates there were).Right now, when I look at the Display properties, the backgrounds listbox is disabled/unselectable, so I can't change it. Why would this be? (This is Windows XP Professional). No big deal, just very annoying.
