Vermontman
Hi All,I have a problem. I cannot get my computer to shut down properly. When I click on start, shutdown the computer goes through all the steps and shuts down then within 2 to 3 seconds it starts right back up again. If I do this several times it will finally shut off. I am being very careful that I am clicking on shut down and not restart. Any help here would be apprecialted. Thanks,
zizzer
Only thing I can think of is that your PC is viewing the windows shut-down as some sort of unexpected power loss. So try this, go into your BIOS setup, usually under power management, and under "Restore on AC/Power Loss" set it to "Power off" if it is not already set on that. Hope this helps.
