humbletech99 Posted November 6, 2006 Report Share Posted November 6, 2006 I'm doing an Active Directory migration from NT 4 to AD 2003 and when migrating a computer account I get the following message:User rights translation will be performed in "Add" only mode. Any other objects will be translated in adherence to your mode selectionI take it this means that the both the accounts in the old and new domains will have rights to objects.I thought I read somewhere that migrating computers in add mode might cause problems for MSI deployment with AD group policies/software policies. I've selected Replace mode but do not fully understand why it is telling me it is going to do add mode for user rights translation.Any advice on this?
