Windows Security Log

Hi,

The other day, I noticed on a Domain login screen for a Windows XP box a message stating the security log was full, and that an administrator could dump it. Loading the security log, I saw a ton of the following under - My Computer --> Manage --> System Tools --> Event Viewer --> Security:

Success Audit 11/21/2006 3:33:51 PM Security Privilege Use 578 jsupple JSUPP

There are literally thousands of these log entries, sometimes many 10s of them happening in a second. The CPU seems to be under no stress, and I can detect no other problems with regard to functionality. However, something's going on, and I can't see any other security logs because the 578's are blowing them out of the buffer.

Anyone have this before? Or better yet, had it before and SOLVED it?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

John
