They made me change it to 30mins per session Free for all deathmatch. Can't believe how dull it is - have yet to learn all the spawn points, seem so many of them and all I'm doing is walking around trying to find somebody, anybody? Please.....!Will just leave them all to it now - increased the number of allowable players, no one's complained of lag at all - crazy blighters!It's taking the wotsit, but am going to see what happens if I run the retail version of Spearhead so i can join you lot. (Wouldn't want to spoil there fun - poor little demo players that they are...)Well, I'll give 'em half an hour to eleven, then it's g'nite regardless. Hee. A struggle to get in.Was a bit naff this time. Need to learn those maps and cunning strategy, like you lot. Hadn't realised Spearhead contained MOH:AA maps - (hadn't played MOH:AA before) - but even I quickly twigged. It was like, eh? Haven't I seen this before? Felt a little swizzed I must admit.That server I set up went to the pits, it became an instant message (or gripe) site. The kids were complaining about lag. I decided to frighten them a little, and informed them that people like me... set it up because of EA and other games sites failure to support the demo version (hence the chronic lag), even told them I had the retail version, a place to go, and was being a little kind to them in setting it up. They never learn...One guy couldn't get his head around the concept of 'free' but at a cost (in effect of time if not money) to the host, and everyone was playing the free demo version for goodness sake! What more do they want? Lol. He maintained his stance and kept up his verbal assault and complaint to the administrator, joined by another, only to mention perhaps he should shut down Kazaa. (He was busy downloading an illegitimate version of Spearhead with CD Key). Cheeky blighter! Now, that's nutz for you - natural teen idiocy. ;) Damn fools. I kept dying but I thought the maps were fine.Actually, I like some of those maps very much but didn't realise they were MOHAA not Spearhead maps.You do what you think is best. Looking forward to playing Spearhead again, by the way.Think I am doing something wrong with entering the pca password thing, but for it saying the slots were taken up. My usual way is to find the server in browser - not a problem, but just wondered if you thought you had enough password spaces, now that it seems it's very busy at times.Oh my God, it's beginning to get dark now as I type - I hate winter. If so, all that it requires you to do is bring the console down, type in the 'password PCA' bit, and then find and log into the server. I personally join the server via the console too, just seems nice and convenient to do it that way.It should look a little something like this... Well, every-night at midnight it strikes a musical chord and opens a little box reminding me of the upcoming event. :) Great, but usually at that time of night I'm either counting sheep (occasionally) or playing Spearhead (frequently) and as it strikes midnight, thats right this programme starts up and it insists on showing me how clever it is by coming to the foreground at the expense of whatever is running at the time. :( Now there's me charging around like a lunatic with SMG at the ready when two of the enemy are sighted... I press the trigger and... bong this flippin' thing starts up and minimises Spearhead. Flip says I, shuts it down and maximises Spearhead, result me lying dead. Would be nice to know what those two guys saw at the time... maybe they thought I froze at the sight of them?Rant over, I feel better for sharing that little tantrum with you all. :D Goodnight.
