dod1951 Posted January 20, 2007 Report Share Posted January 20, 2007 I have an ASUS MB A7V333 with on board RAID which is WinXP Promise MBFastTrack133 Lite controller.The other day I added 2 new IDE/ATA drives both 320 in RAID 0 configuration which I let the system configure for Video usage.When I look at properties on the RAID drive it reports the capcity as 297GB. Appreciating that there is some reserve on all disks for system usage etc i would have expected approx 600GB as the capacity in a RAID 0 (stripe) configuration. This looks like it is in RAID 1 (mirror) mode. On boot MBFasttrack reports the RAID as functional stripe and 640GB capacity. Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?
