Chromepro Posted January 22, 2007 Report Share Posted January 22, 2007 Whenever I try to run Limewire I get a message saying that i need to download and install Java runtime environment. However when I go to uninstall the old java runtime environment it says fatal error- and that it can't be uninstalled.Does anybody have any ideas to get limewire working? Chromepro Posted January 22, 2007 Author Report Share Posted January 22, 2007 J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10 is what I have under add/remove programs..which btw. is uninstallable for some reason. The error when I run Limewire is.. Limewire was unable to load the Java Runtime Environment. Please download and install a newer version from www.java.com.However as typing this I was able to uninstall the one in remove programs. But the question is which thing should I download from java.comEDIT: wooh it worked...I don't understand why it didn't work before but whatever. thanks anyway guys.
