But Craig has set the board up for all posts to be reviewed before they are accepted for the board. If you do arrange any meetings with your ideal partner make sure it's in a public place as well.You won't, of course, have any difficulty in recognising one another if you both arrange to have your trouser legs rolled up and your shirts unbuttoned.Good luck in finding your dream date. I must have missed that. <_< I do remember posting a few replies to threads that were bitching other sites, but some people just dont want critisism when it goes against their own views.I was merely trying to point out that the site is called "Windows" forum. Why does it need a mini Loot, or ebay?Newcomers log on to this site for the first time because of the name, they expect a forum about Windows.There have been threads in the past about getting new members to which I have replied that keeping the existing ones is more important. The only way to do this is to cater for them, not for the regulars who are happy with a layout, and content, that satisfies them alone.Do you realise that of all the replies on the forum, less than half are computer related?Or that 15,000, more than half, of the 27,000 posts, were made by TEN people, and another 8000 by the next fifteen?That is 23,000 postings made by twenty five people. :o You may call it bitching, but why didn't the other 300 and odd members return? Will sales and wants bring them back? Sorry to upset the applecart, but you cant have it both ways. I would concentrate on creating categories more relevent to the name of the forum. The great majority of members join to solve a specific problem and then melt away until another problem arises. Those with strong minds and a humourous and articulate outlook join in the chat and those with a high degree of technical knowledge and experience stay to help the less fortunate. This site has an excellent 'core' membership and encourages debate but it also offers high-quality help.
