Network Security-XP Pro

Does anyone know why or better yet, how I can change the following Windows XP Professional Network Security issue?

Occassionally I will access another computer in my building using the following Start/RUN command: \\ComputerName\C$

Most computers I get a windows security screen asking for a user and a password. I use my administrator user and password with no problem....However, some machines will just ask me for a password and will not allow me to type in the Administrator username. The user name shows GUEST as the user and will not allow me to change it. It wants just a password. Anyone have any clues as to why it will only allow me to logon as guest?

It's got to be a simple thing I've overlooked!

thanks
