Grim Reaper
I've got a serious problem with system 32. When I start up it says that it has a generic host problem. The sound control also doesn't work even though I downloaded and put back sndvol32 in the folder. I don't know what to do anymore, can someone here please help me? cozofdeath
For the generic host problem check out these sites...http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;en-us;894391http://support.microsoft.com/?id=821690By the sound control not working, do you get an error message opening your volume controls? Can you hear anything from your speakers?

cozofdeath
One good thing to check and be sure of is if your Windows Audio service is on. Go to Start, run, and type services.msc and scroll down on the right untill you see Windows Audio. Make sure the Status is Started and the Startup Type is Automatic.
