SoftWakeTea
Is there any free anonymous proxy with encryption available ?I set my IE to use anonymous proxy. It can hide my IP address. But if someone capture my http request before the proxy, he can still get my IP and the content of my http request. The problem is that the data is not encrypted. Anyone know any free anonymous proxy with encryption available? Thanks

cozofdeath
There are many secure online/cgi proxies available. Here is a page I use from time to time.http://proxy.org/cgi_proxies.shtmlI'm not sure if they are secure but secure ones are not hard to find. By http request you might mean dns query but I'm not totally up to date on this stuff. Downloading and using something like JAP or TOR will probably give you the best protection. Using a tool called Privoxy with TOR will give you the dns protection among other things. You should also look up the differences between Stealth, Anon, and Transparent proxies. It will give you some good info on whats passed in the headers. Also disabling active content (java, javascript, etc) in your browser is also a good idea if you really want to be secure. Make sure everything is cached on the proxy server you use like cookies and stuff. Using public proxy lists are generally not a good idea for several different reasons. Most proxy programs use public proxies. With the services I mentioned above you shouldn't have any speed problems.
