Guest 1832bchs
A family meddler has installed a boot editor programme, created a c**p alternative boot screen and then deleted the boot editor. Now when I boot up I get an option to boot with original XP boot scren or the alternative. How do I remove this?? Guest Clint
Hi 1832bchs, welcome to the forum. I don't know the answer to your query, but others will be along to give you an answer. But as a suggestion, post the name of the boot editor. Can you re-install the editor and repair the change to your system.
Guest 1832bchs
Hi, it was called "Boot Editor" as far as I can find out. Yeah, that is one way of doing it, would you suggest that is the easiest way?
bvw
Is this the one? http://members.rogers.com/userxp/indexbe.h...ow_to_uninstallYou could always try a System Restore, you should have a restore point prior to installing the programme.
