dubbelpunt Posted March 7, 2007 Report Share Posted March 7, 2007 Hi,For my intranet I want to use the Windows username as authentication. Therefore i'm going to use NTLM Authentication. This works, but I allways get a username/password prompt when opening the site where ntlm authentication is used on.I was searching the internet and found out that you need to put this url in the Intranet Zone of Internet Explorer. I tested this out for my Domain Admin (this group is not using Group Policy) and it worked. I automatically got the username 'administrator'.But all the users in the network are members of groups with Group Policy's. I found out where I can add items to the intranet zone list (Site to Zone Assignment List) and I added the url, but it won't do the trick.The server is Windows 2003 R2.The user environment is Windows XP SP2, with IE6The webserver is Apache2 (on Fedora Core 5) with php4 installed.Does somebody has experience with this and knows how I can go through without prompting username/password?
