psi3000 Posted March 20, 2007 Report Share Posted March 20, 2007 Hey guys,I have a Canon CLC 1120 with Win NT emb4.0 print server, with service pack 5.0 on it that wont boot up past the blue screen that indicates how much memery you have the service pack ect. and it has the (..............) that indicate that it is booting to the OS. However once it get to about 10 of the periods it stops and doesnt go any farther. I have tried different memery with no luck. Is there a way to fix the mbr and boot like you would in Windows XP? Any input would be greatly appreciated.thanksrichThe first step is trouble shooting everything.Take your hard drive out of your server and put in into a PC that you know works. Boot the PC up in safe mode. If it works then you know it's not the HD. Flip side you'd know if it doesn't. Do this with your memory to.If your HD is corrupt.
