merletweb
I recently reinstalled Win XP. When all was said and done I started installing the drivers. When it can to the Ethernet card I went to the device manager and looked for the Network adapters tab. I can't find it! How can I get that back to get my NIC card working? HELP!!!!Thanks, paull
Raddy
Even after installing the NIC drivers and rebooting, the card still won't appear?
Spaz
Manually remove and reinsert the card. Make sure the system is able to pick it up, try searching for new hardware and go to the motherboard (if onboard NIC) or NIC's site to get the latest drivers. For any hardware changes 90% (just a random percantage) of the time Windows is able to pick it up and give you a prompt at startup.Edit:Also, make sure the Operating System is up to date. With SP2, and other critical updates.
