Email / Outlook Password Protection Question

This may not be possible... I have looked everywhere and cannot find anything, but I thought I would ask.

Is there any way to password protect individual emails in Outlook?

Some of my older associates are not very tech savvy. Requiring them to log in to Outlook just to check normal emails would be a hassle for everyone. However, some emails that I send to them need to be protected from anyone else seeing them.

Is there any way to require recipients to type in a password in order to read specific emails that need to be kept private? If this doesn't make sense let me know and I can try and explain the situation better. Basically I am asking if it is possible to password lock individual emails when I send them so that only the recipient (who knows the password) can open/read the email, but not to password lock all of their other emails?

Welcome to the Windows Forum.

Logging in with userid & password to check one's email is quite normal, and has been that way since I first used email around 1983. It makes no sense to me that your associates have problems logging in to Outlook, but then would have no problem to specify a password to view individual email.

Anyway, to the best of my knowledge, Outlook does not supply such a facility. Maybe there is some 3rd-party add-on that can perform this. But I don't know.

P.S. I use Outlook, but Outlook logs in automatically for me - I don't need to type my password every time I open Outlook. Maybe that can be the solution for you? Each user logs into Windows with his/her own userid/password, then logs in into Outlook automatically?

If this is not for you, please specify more details about your situation; what the difficulty is to login to Outlook?
