dennis99 Posted July 23, 2007 Report Share Posted July 23, 2007 I have a domain controller acting as a DNS server on my LAN. I have added a new domain controller and I want to make this a DNS server also. If I work through the DNS wizard will it automatically import the DNS zones from the existing domain controller? Or do I have to create/import them by hand? The wizard wants me to create a new zone, but I want to use the existing zone. If I give it the same name as the existing zone will it figure out what I am trying to do? The look up zones appear on the new server, but the main screen says "this computer has not been configured.
