Log In Problem

I have two computers set up about the same way. They run Windows XP and have both Internet Explorer and Firefox installed. On one of the computers I am unable to log in on a web site where I'm registered, but I can log in on the other computer. I don't get an error message when the log in fails. It just displays the log-in screen again, as if nothing had happened. The behavior is the same with either browser.

I'd appreciate any suggestions anyone might have.

"Can you also clear the browser cache?"

I can clear the browser cache in Firefox 2.0.0.7 on the system that works properly, but not on the one that won't log in. I don't use Internet Explorer often so I don't know how to clear it.

"Do you manually type the userid & password?"

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It doesn't seem to matter.

"Did you try with another browser (which one(s) do you use)?"

I use both Internet Explorer and Firefox. I use Firefox most often. On the machine that works properly, I can log on to the web site with both IE and Firefox. On the one that doesn't work,, I can't log in with either browser. Also, on the one that doesn't work, some of the graphics are missing from IE.
