gordythegouge
When I try to create a bootable CD, after pressing the Proceed Button, it goes through all the incremental buildup and then says the media is unsuitable.....try again. When I use the Back buttons to go to the first create bootable media screen from there, I find that my options have been reduced to two, the cdr/rw option drive is not shown and it gives the ISO Image as the first option. it also appears to make my mouse behave erratically after this and I have to re-boot the PC to get normal functionality from the mouse once more! Help!Gordy :( PS I'm using Windows XP ProfessionalPPS I'm using Benq DVD RW DrivePPPS I'm seriously P****d off!!PPPPS I'm rapidly losing the will to live.........it's been that sort of week! ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
As there are probably not yet many Acronis TI11 users, you may be better off trying Acronis Technical Support?P.S. do you have the latest update for Acronis TI11 (Home) installed - build #8027? gordythegouge
Update? That's the only build there is old chum! And for what it's worth....so far I'm not impressed. I've not got as far as trying to backup my PC yet as I want to get this bootable cd problem sussed out. I've contacted Tech Support and have yet to hear from them. I wonder if maybe I should have uninstalled Acronis 10 first before I installed the upgrade? I actually went to uninstall A10 after the upgrade...... and lo and behold....there was no sign of it....although I think it must still be there as the Add/Remove Programs option in Control Panel gives me Properties size of approx. double what the download size of Acronis True Image is in actuality. The plot thickens.Gordy
