frag Posted October 10, 2007 Report Share Posted October 10, 2007 i need to access the control panel on laptop to delete some software. I cant get it the usual way of hitting start and then control panel. i have tried window key and E but no joy there either. Its my flatmates laptop and she aint happy wi me about busting her laptop. seems i downloaded some spyware and thus had to get some software to get rid of it and now the whol;e thing has slowed down big time and im in the s*** wi her. need help on this one big time. when ever i try to get close to access control panel or try and right clik and delete software it keeps asking for admin access only. how can i get past this. frag Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I recommend that you first run an online scan from http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ to find and eliminate as much malware as possible.If there are suspicions of more malware after this, go through the Castlecops Malware Removal and Prevention checklist.Post back here on how it is going.
