Need help restoring to factory default

For the last few months, ive been having trouble with my laptop. The internet process, when it is running, jumps the cpu to 100% every few minutes. It never used to do this, but in the last month or two it has been doing this a lot. At first i thought it was due to malware, but through the spybot forum, i removed vundo, virumonde, and some other malware, but the problem still persisted. The people from spybot seem to think that it is a problem with my registry, since i used a reg cleaner a while ago to fix some errors, and it probably deleted some vital information for the internet process. I have cd's that came with my computer, but not the actual XP disk, since it was pre-installed. The disks are burned and labeled Aspire 5102 WLmi Recovery Disk 1 and 2. Apparently these are used to recover the original state of the computer, but i do not know how to do this. If you can be of any help, please write back to me.

Ps. I dont mind losing everything cause i can easily get everything back.

more likely than not you will have to restart the computer with the CD in the drive and boot from the CD. if it doesn't boot from the CD, you'll have to go into the bios. during the POST (when you first turn the computer on and it shows info about your RAM or maybe an ACER logo) you will need to press they key it says to enter setup (usually DEL, F1, or F2). look through the menus for the boot priority. i always have mine set for Floppy>CD>Hard Disk. save and exit and it should boot from the CD next time.
