EJ` Posted November 26, 2007 Report Share Posted November 26, 2007 i can not install anything that is .msi files because i get this error ( at bottom of the post ) i already tried installing windows installer and it up to date and i don't know what else to do so can any1 help me plz. and yes i have a legit copy of windows with a legit genuine key. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb Posted November 27, 2007 Report Share Posted November 27, 2007 What was that "something"?Can you check the Services Manager that the 'Windows Installer' service is not disabled?If this is OK, can you try to run the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility and remove the "something" installation, then try again? EJ` Posted November 27, 2007 Author Report Share Posted November 27, 2007 the something was steam and maple story basically everything that is .msi i cant open//install in services windows installer is set to automatic and it doesnt say started and it wont let me start it.
