Display problems

Hi

I am having a couple of problems which I really could do with some help on as I cannot find anything in the trouble shooter guides to help me

The 1st problem is that I am currently using a small flat screen monitor/TV that as my monitor. The monitor has a PC input as well as S Video, Skart and a couple of others and there are different S videos and PC channels as well. Everything has been working fine but now when I start the computer the windows logo is displayed fine as the system is booting up and windows is loading. However, as soon as windows has booted up the log on screen does not display properly. The screen image is light blue but there is an interferance pattern which means the cursor or the clickable icons cannot be seen. I am not sure if it is the resolution but I have set the resolution as low as possible 600 X 800. The display does work on another monitor so I know it is not the computer and the flat screen does work on the other channels e,g when playing a DVD etc.

It just appears very strange that I have a perfect picture when working in dos or the boot drive and when displaying the opening widows logo when windows is opening up (widows logo on black screen) Can any one help please.

The other problem is that my lap top was purchased in greece and windows is displayed in greek - how do I change this please.

1. Can you do a System Restore to the point before the problem started?
   
2. You have the Greek version of Windows installed; you need to purchase and install the English Windows version. Unless it's Vista - that is a multi-language version, to the best of my knowledge, and you should be able to change its language interface.
